OnBoard
|
OnBoard is the RYA's programme developed to introduce children to sailing and windsurfing. The aim is to introduce half a million young people to the sports over the next 10 years, by establishing on-going links between schools and youth groups and local sailing clubs and training centres, The Club is fortunate in that the local OnBoard Development Officer has learnt to sail at the Club and is one of its most active racing sailors. Using funding from OnBoard, the Club has ordered a new Mirror sailing dinghy, buoyancy aids, spray tops and helmets for use by training course members. |
