Open Meetings
During the year, Hollingworth Lake Sailing Club hosts Open Meetings for each of its major fleets. Sailors from all over the country are invited to compete against the local club members. HLSC is well known for its good organisation and friendly atmosphere and most of these events are well attended with excellent close racing.
Action from the Solo Open Meeting; No mistakes allowed
The Open Meetings are normally part of a local or national series run by the relevant Class Associations.
In addition, HLSC is often asked to run major Class Association events such as Inland Championships, Youth events, Masters events etc.
