Social
Programme
In
a sailing club, you race together and socialise together. After Sunday and Wednesday sailing, most people relax in the bar and main
room to discuss the day's sailing and anything else they fancy.
The main social programme starts in the autumn when the Wednesday sailing finishes. On most Wednesday nights there is a function of some kind. These nights can be anything from a talk on sailing, a wine-tasting evening, keep-fit sessions, quiz night, local history talk etc. Of course, they are really just an excuse to meet friends.
