We normally run our annual open day on one Sunday in May. Due to the Coronavirus situation, this year this will not happen and it would be premature to try to schedule a suitable alternative date at this time. During the day we will be offering FREE introductory taster sessions and a look around our clubhouse and facilities.
The open day will run from 10am until 3.30pm and is open to everyone, adults and kids.
On the day and we will aim to get you out on the water as soon as possible, our galley will also be open serving tea, coffee and soft drinks throughout the day.
If you have any questions or would like further information please email email@example.com
What should I bring? – Buoyancy aids are provided, all you need to bring is some warm clothes you don’t mind getting wet, a waterproof jacket if you have one, a towel and change of clothes if you happen to get wet.
How long will the taster session last? – This will vary depending on how busy the day is however we aim to provide a taster session of between 15 and 30 minutes.
If I like it can I come back? – Of course, we have a number adult and junior beginner courses running this season as well as whole host of other activity. Please ask for more information on the day or have a look through our ‘learn to sail’ pages on the website.
Will I be with a instructor? – Our taster sessions are run by our volunteer team of instructors and experienced sailors. All tasters take place in our double handed boats meaning one of our team will be on-board with you and you family at all times!
